Requirements for guests

What are the requirements to book on mirrorhousespoundfarm.com?

We ask everyone who uses Mirror Houses Pound Farm platform for a few pieces of information before they book. Guests need to have this info completely filled out before they can make a reservation. This information helps to make sure hosts know who to expect, and how to contact the guest.

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Confirmed phone number

Bookings may be made by a person with active legal capacity who is at least 18 years old. The consequences of orders placed by a non-compliant person are the responsibility of the person whose bank account or credit card has been used to pay the fee.

Guest standards for stays

​Check-in

Guests should respect the earliest check-in time. Any check-in before the designated window should be approved by the Mirror Houses Pound Farm contact person. Additional charges may be applied for an early check-in. 

​

Changing dates or house

Your booking may be changed ONCE up to 7-14 days before your arrival depending on the house. For that, please contact our customer support at info@mirrorhousespoundfarm.com. Additional charges may apply.

Check-out

Guests must complete check-out by the designated check-out time indicated on the reservation, and should not leave belongings at the mirror houses pound farm past the designated check-out time for storage or later pickup. Additional charges may be applied for a late check-out.

Cleanliness

Guests should not leave mirror houses pound farm in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning (e.g. with soiled carpet, mouldy dishes, excessive trash, etc.) Cleaning fees are only meant to cover the cost of standard cleaning between reservations (e.g. laundry, vacuuming, etc.) Additional charges may be applied.

Guest authorisation

Guests should respect the approved number of guests and should inquire with mirror houses pound farm contact person if they’re unsure about the rules for visitors.

No smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and the mirror houses and anywhere on Pound Farm. This includes the use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc.

Cancellation Policy

​

Cancellations and refunds

Make sure you read the cancellation policy below before booking a stay to avoid any inconveniences.

Flexible:

  • More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund of the booking amount, less a 3% transaction fee.

  • Between 14 days and 7 days before arrival: 50% refund of the booking amount, less a 3% transaction fee.

  • Less than 7 days before arrival: No refund will be issued.

Additional Terms

  • Transaction Fee: 3% of the original booking amount will be deducted from the refund.

  • Refund Processing Time: Refunds will be processed and transferred to your original payment account within 5-10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

  • Non-Refundable Circumstances: No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the arrival date or for no-shows.

  • Refund will be transferred to the payment account within 5-10 business days.

* Please note that in case of cancellation, a transaction fee of 3% of the booking amount will be charged.

Gift Cards

  • The gift card is only valid for a one-time purchase.

  • If the purchase amount is higher than the value of your gift card, you can pay the difference between the purchase amount and the gift card value on the checkout page.

  • The gift card is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  • The reservation paid with the gift card can be changed and canceled according to the cancellation conditions of the package and until the expiry of the gift card.

  • The gift card cannot be used together with other discount codes. You can use either a discount code or a gift card for one purchase.

  • The gift card is only valid until the date indicated on it. Expired and unused gift cards will not be reimbursed.

Damage deposit

​

A damage deposit may apply to some cabins listed on the mirrorhousespoundfarm.com booking platform.

The damage deposit is fully refundable within 5-10 days of departure, providing the following provisions are met:

  • The property is not damaged beyond normal wear and tear;

  • The property is in a reasonably clean condition on departure;

  • All Terms & Conditions are being followed;

  • All keys, remote controls, etc. are left at the property;

  • Buildings are locked and windows are closed;

  • No items are damaged or lost;

  • The BBQ is cleaned and left in the same condition as it was found;

  • The Hot Tub rules have been followed and has been left in clean condition as it was at the start of a guest stay.

Mirror Houses Pound Farm have a thorough inspection policy to ensure the rental units are in good condition and that guests will not be inadvertently held responsible for missing or broken items.

​

Additional terms:

​

  • No driving fast (Maximum speed is 5mph) whilst on Pound Farm.

  • No entering or swimming in the pond or any other waterway.

  • Strict adherence to Hot Tub rules published published in the Welcome Folder displayed inside the mirror houses.

  • No walking on Pound Farm land other than designated walkways to the mirror houses and the decking around them.

  • No children under 18

  • No smoking anywhere on Pound Farm.

  • No noise anywhere on site including music or raised voices outside.

  • No naked flames inside or outside the houses other than the BBQ/Fire-pit outside.

  • Strict adherence to House Rules published in the Welcome Folder displayed inside the mirror houses.
